At this point I wonder if it's worth replacing the crank sensor and coil. I just turned over 280K miles. I recently put new dialectric grease on the ignition module but I'll check and clean grounds as well.

Hard one to diagnose over the internet, but if it is not the fuel pump or pressure issue, then I would start by checking all grounds for corrosion.....I mean all the ones there are in the book/schematic G102, G103 etc etc.

Also just do a visual of the harnesses to the coil, crank position sensor, distributor and anything you can think of or see.
May be a crank sensor going out.

unknown at this time.
Get the dielectric grease off the ignition module it is not need nor recommended. DO not replace them if you can not prove they are defective. If you choose to replace the crank sensor you will have to go to the dealer afterwards to have a procedure done because of it.

I am having the exact same issue. I have replaced plugs, wires, cap, button, and coil. I let it sit for two days and now it wont start. Im going to the mechanic because its getting to expensive to just be replacing parts. only thing I haven't replaced is the icm, but thats 120 dollars and im not willing to buy a part I dont need. Good luck to you.

Took mine to mechanic and its the fuel pump. If you dont have 55 lbs or more of fuel pressure at start up then it will not start but if you do get it started with ether or something it will run fine. I'm putting ac delco on it as it is oem.
