Hi everyone, not trying to hijack this thread, but I have the same issue on my 2009 Tahoe. I verified the starter relay is working and the 40 amp fuse is good and I get voltage there when the key is turned to start, but no voltage at the starter solenoid. I suspect a broken wire, but where could it be broken, is it worth the effort to find the break, or is it just easier to run a new wire?

Run a makeshift wire first to verify the problem being from the wire/power supply or the starter.

I'm thinking battery or wiring to battery. Weird an additional drain makes that much of a difference. When these things happen, does a jump help? That would answer a lot.
