Awesome. The plumbers tape mounts to the factory bowtie studs? Is the other side just through the grille? I’ve been wanting to do this (along with fog updates) with some BD lights and had been looking for EMS brackets.

No, I drilled holes and used the narrowest head width bolts I could find behind the bowtie. The other side is just through the grill. I used rubber and metal washers. Suck down the outer bolts most of the way first, then bend your plumbers tape into place while bolted onto the light and drill your holes behind the bowtie last to make sure everything is squared up.

It will sit flush on the grill which will aim them slightly high. The lights I bought had 4 cast nubs on the corners of the housing. I had to grind the top ones flush with the housing for a downward aim.

After you get the grill back on, you can leave the top bolts off and gently pull the grill back to fine tune aiming, but your fore arms will look like you fought a bobcat, Long sleeves are your friend! Be careful tightening down the hardware. If you break the ABS, you're screwed.

Please follow up with your fog light install. Very interested.

I was going to ask about adjusting, but you answered my question. Once you have them aligned and tightened- Looks great, again!

Didn’t look like a high enough quality mount to pull the trigger on. I’m sure something will pop up sooner than later.
