I have heard talk about a stealth radio face...let me explain more what this Stealth Radio Face is. This stealth radio face is suppose to be a cover to overlay your aftermarket headunit. It is just the shell of an OEM headunit with buttons and all, which acts as a cover to lay over your aftermarket headunit.
It is a good idea I think and being that I had my Z2 stolen once already, and I just had a new one reinstalled I am interested in either buying one of these Stealth Radio Faces or I am even interested enough to try and make my own, but where to start...hmmmm...anybody:hmm::hmm::hmm:

Sounds like a good idea. I'd be interested in something like this also, especially since I'm thinking of getting a Z2.

I was in the process of making one, but got lazy, I got a OEM deck face from a double din, popped the face off and glued the buttons back on, just haven't made anything to hold it on yet.

Here's the basic concept: Shave the face plate off a factory radio, then use velcro, magnets, whatever to be able to attach it over your faceplate. I've seen it done many times, just never had any desire to do it.

Mine works, but it was just gonna go to eBay anyway. If you don't find a broken one, shoot me a PM and we can deal.

Velcro or magnets huh...I kinda want something that'll kinda slip over w/o any type of adhesive, IMO it'll look a bit cheezy, but I guess I should look more into it...I am searching on EBay for a radio now but if I don't find one I will PM you '...Apeman and see if you still have your radio.
