I'm changing the pitman arm on my wife's 2004 Tahoe and ran into an issue. While taking off the pitman arm I messed up the threads on the end of the splined pitman arm shaft on the steering box. Does anybody know what size the threads are so I can take a thread chaser over it?

triangle jewelers file will fix it right up. sold in auto parts stores.
or while your at any auto store with one in stock, walk over to the tool isle, grabs a thread pitch gauge and micrometer, measure it, walk back over to tool isle, grab correct die and go home. Or if not on shelf order it.

:hmmm2:
