Hi all, it's been a while since I've posted, but I come to you once again with problems. The first, and most important issue has to do with steering. For some reason, every time I turn the steering wheel, whether it be just a little bit or full-lock, I get an irritating squeaking noise coming from the front of the truck. The first time I noticed this, I was in a drive-thru and thought that it was the 1990s Ford Explorer in front of me, but unfortunately, it was not. This started after the road that I live on was re-graveled, it's apparent that my neighbors have no idea how to drive on gravel, and have completely rutted & "washboarded" the road to bits. The other night I was in a hurry to get home, and forgot about a certain really bad section of "washboards" (think wavy hills and valleys of gravel), and straight up assaulted them… I pulled into my driveway and as I waited for the gate to open, I barely turned my wheels, to straighten them, I heard the noise then, but didn't think anything of it. It's almost as if it's slightly harder to steer now as well. I have no idea where to start with this, but I'm hoping that one of you guys do. I took a video last night of the noise, and I will link to it below. Any help would be appreciated. Tonight on my way home, I was going about 45mph, in a straight line, and began to hear a roaring noise. It was almost as if the wheel was going to fall off… I could tell that it was coming from the front of the truck, but couldn't tell if it was primarily on the right or the left. This could be unrelated, but maybe not.
Steering Wheel Noise Issue
My second issue is one that I think I may have asked about before, but I don't think I ever got an answer. My rear climate control stopped working about two years ago, and I'm not sure why. The controls work, the rear heated seats, everything, but the blower refuses to turn on. I can adjust the temperature and everything, but nothing happens. It seems only logical that it's an issue with the blower, but where would I begin about fixing it? At this point I'm really tired of friends complaining because it's either too hot or too cold in the back, which I completely understand, but nonetheless it needs to be fixed.
