steering gearbox question

on the gear box, which line is the return line? is it the line closest to the frame rail, or closest to the motor if you are looking straight down once you open the hood. thanks justin

I'm not %100 Sure.. But From what i remember when i change my Gear box on my 1999 Yukon. The top is the Return Reason i said this is because the TOP hose is Manually Clamp down. and the hose on the bottom will not hold pressure when its Manually Clamp down and always BLOW and leaks OIL. SO i had to replace the bottom with the proper Pressurize hose.
