Well today I intalled a swi-ps buy pac, what a mess. pac said the this mod was for 2001 and up. Well I orderd on in line, $39.00 .
I could have got it from my car audio owner buddies but I was being a cheap ass, since I had so much loot tied into the truck I took the E-bay way.
they sell for about $100 but the guys could have got me one for about $60.
So anyway it wouldnt program at all, so I went out to buy another one thinking it was the modual. So I paid the 60 buck anyway, its wouldnt program either, shit!!!!! come to find out this unit only works with GM data bus trucks, being that mine is a 2002 its analog. Wow two hours later after all this madness I came across a metra one which works slick as monkey shit!!! it takes half the time and it progams itself.
