Steering Wheel Controls

I don't know this to be a fact, so treat it accordingly - however, from what I know about how our rides are wired, I would bet that the controls wouldn't do anything unless the body computer was re-programmed. Depending on how cooperative your dealer is (I think that is a contradiction in terms), that could add another $150 - $200 to the bill. Anybody have any experience with this?
