Hello everyone, I have a 09 Yukon Denali AWD. When I am driving down the road anywhere between 20-45mph, I get a little shimmy in the steering wheel when I hit small pot holes or bumps. It's like I am getting a lot of feedback thru the shocks to the steering wheel. This is my first AWD but I wouldn't expect that to happen. Has anyone else experienced this? It has 93000 miles on it with I am sure original struts and shocks. Thank you in advance!

I don't drive ours a lot, but I noticed the same thing. It's a 2008 with 97k on it. I'm not sure if it was there or it's a new thing. Last I checked on mine, the front end what tight, I was guessing struts as well. This doesn't happen all the time, seems like when I'm going around a corner about 50 mph and hit some bumps in the road.

That kinda sounds like mine. It doesn't do it all the time. Everything feels tight underneath. Maybe I'm just being paranoid or not use to the AWD lol

Or, it's due for shocks. I replaced the rear on mine due to the airbags getting holes in them. I was just thinking of replacing the fronts also.

Ok, I have come to the conclusion that my struts are shot! Now what should I use to replace them. It is equipped with the autoride so I am sure I will be breaking out the big credit card lol

How did you come to that conclusion? I would stick with stock through amazon.

I can hear the struts. The valving inside of them is shot. I am getting a lot of bounce in the front end. They also have a rattle. I'm very confident they are shot.
