Steering wheel swap volume controls

I am going to attempt this project as well. I have a 2017 PPV. I recieved my new instrument cluster today. I am guessing i need a clock spring to go with it. I know it will also have to be calibrated at the dealership from what i understand. It there anything else i am missing or need to know? I looked up the part number for this instrument cluster on gm parts site and it said it fits the ppv models
