Stereo Question

I've been wanting to get a new stereo for my '03 Yukon. I've got my stock stereo from my '12 Silverado laying around and I got to wondering if it would fit/function properly if I tried to swap them. In the Yukon I've got the Bose system, leftover from the Silverado is the stock, non-Bose system. Any knowledge anybody can pass along will be greatly appreciated!
