Sticky brakes

Ive had collapsed hoses in two previous gmt's....caused the same symptom.

I am leaning that way for the brakes staying on after a hard stop. I'll try the abs. The other issue I'm not sure about. My wife is complaining about it being hard to push at first. I need to go drive it, i need to drive it again.

How do i test the check valve?

Turn the engine off and wait a few minutes. You should still have power brakes for a couple pumps
