My 2003 Yukon XL has sticky power windows. I don't know if the motors are dying or what. They seem to stop at the same elevation when closing then they go up very slowly with a couple stops on the way. Is there a burn in on the motor? or wtf????

Thanks for that info, Riff Raff. May have to do this at some point. Passenger window is sooooo slow at about halfway up. And it makes a kind of grinding noise.

If you hear grinding or window stops in the same spot, it's probably the cable in the regulator. It's much easier to replace the regulator/motor together instead of messing with the cables. I would recommend a dorman.
