the tb springs are 195 shipped. Im looking at your pic seems like the front is a lot lower so you could prob do the tb springs and it would sit even but i think your tires stick out of the wells so would cut them up.

Im just trying to get you set up right. i dont bs on what I say here and have people that are very happy with the items I sell. I have a suv also and ride is very important to me.

As for the djm rear hardware kit it comes with
trailing arm relocators (which i recommened over a 4 inch drop)
swaybar endlinks/relocators
that kit is $165 dollars shipped and if you see it for less shipped I will beat anyones prices.

Main thing is do your tires stick out of the wells??? If not i would cut the rear bumpstop brackets off right now before you buy anything then we can go from there. id rather see you cut the bumpstop brackets off and say tony this is better or the same because that is only about 5 bucks in blades and takes 10 minutes to do.

I changed my rear out also to bilsteins, was rough for a while, its getting better, but i also dont drive but 5 min to work. Thats about it. So not much driving on them yet. But i have beltech prog. springs in the rear. Rode real nice until i put the bilsteins in and dropped it to about a little below 32" Im going to do as tony has said to you also, to cut the rear bumpstop bracket off. Going to try to do that this weekend. I can let you know how mine rides afterwards. (by the way, not sure how much drop mine is, but looking at my axle and the rear bumpstop, its on them constantly, just to give you an idea)

Not really much help, just thought id give my experience as of now, on my drop.

Tony...

The wheels indeed stick out... if I did not have the fender flares, they would stick PAST the fenders. They are pretty much even with the outside of the fender flares right now.

As for the comment you made about the front end being real low, it is for sure lower then 2"... but remember, I have the Z71 which has a bunch of skid plate and front end 4x4 ********* that is weighing the truck down. I am pretty sure I got at least 3" of drop out of my front keys, and they are cranked ALL THE WAY UP!!! lmao...

in that case DO NOT cut the bumpstop brackets once you do that your tires will get cut up on the rear fenderlips on big dips. At this point knowing that I would look into putting the rear tb spring in with the djm 1 inch spacer but you should really cut that bumpstop bracket off to truely get the best ride.

if you did new wheels that would solve all this and i guarantee you would be happy with the rear tb set up.

New wheels would solve a large portion of my complaints about my truck... I would get better fuel economy, my truck wouldn't track as much, and I would go faster....

But I LOVE the tubbed 305 look... well... that and I don't have the money to buy a new tire/wheel setup...

I thought I heard someone tell me that there is an aftermarket bumpstop setup that 'reduces' the bumpstop size... is that true and is it worth it?

you wheels are 20x8.5 i would do a 285 50 20 on them (i think you have 305 50 20 on them now) and you would be able to get away with more.

now if you use the tb springs full 5 inch drop you will need the rear hardware kit and djm shocks.

the complete
tb springs
rear hardware kit
rear tb shocks
$450 shipped

If you wnat to see how it rides with shocks you have now then
tb springs
rear djm kit
$360 shipped

At this point i really wouldnt go lower because you have no axle clearance. You can get the bumpstop brackets cut and go with the bumpstops I listed and tb spring with 1 inch spacer and just measure how much play you have before tire hits the well and cut the bumpstop accordingly but due to your wheel tire size/offset your really not going to get a good ride going lower because you dont have much room to play with.

im just trying to help you out to use your money wisely. You can start off with cutting the bumpstop brackets off and then using the bumpstops and go from there.

I'm having the same problem, but don't think my offset is as bad as Tybardy. I'm running 305/50/20 and my tires are close to flush with the side of my truck with no fender flares. I thought our tire size-width/height-was close to a 305/30/24 and lots of guys are running this size tire with a 3/5 or greater drop. what would be the minimal offset wheel to run a 305/50/20? I believe I have 25mm offset. I guess it would need to be a least 30mm to fit? I'm willing to trim, cut or burn my fenders to make this work if possible lol.

had 275/55/20-hated the look
ideal size 285/40/20- hind sight 20/20

side shot of mine.
