So, which models came with the Bridgestones? My Denali came with Conti's and I'm pleased with them so far (and I'm another fan of the Defenders). Quiet, comfortable, and seem to be stable in the rain up to the point there are large puddles.
Not sure there is a 22" Conti that fits...may be wrong...but I think a lot of us w/ 22's got the Alenza BananaPeels

For my wife's jag I just bought the smallest and cheapest rims that would work, period. Nobody cares what your rims look like when it's 10 degrees and most of your stuff is salt covered. All of it is just to try to get thru till spring...
Generallly agree, I found a set of those that I posted as takeoffs for $800. Not sure I can go to the 18's...think the 20's are the min, but could check, tires will be cheaper in the 18's...

I changed out to the defenders within a week of getting the 21 Tahoe. Couldn’t be happier. There were not many choices in the 22” factory size. I was so happy when the Michelin’s became available.

Ahh, your all running 22s. My ride will have the 18s. Not at my pc at the moment to see what those tires will be, but likely a bit different then 22s

THey may be coming off soon...after some rain earlier this week and a fair amount of driving in it...I am less than pleased.

That must be the difference. I ordered mine with the 20's. Although I've planned to replace with the Michelins when these are shot, I must say the Continentals have impressed me. I still have the Defenders on two other trucks, but the Conti's are a bit quieter and remove some of the harshness of the Defenders with the trade-off being a little less handling response. I understand why GM would choose them as an OEM tire for a vehicle like this.

My 19 & 22 Denali's came with Conti's on 20" wheels. When the 22's arrived for the new one it had Alenza's-I immediately switched to LTX's
