I still Gotta get underneath and check in why my compressor isn't kicking in. Sorta hoping it's a a short or something in the wiring. That's cheaper than replacing the compressor or stocks lol. At 86k on the clock in my 2006 should I be considering that the compressor is bad or shocks have a leak?

It's very possible. A bad ground on the compressor is also common; it was on mine. The lug gets corroded where it attaches to the chassis and that's the same as no power.
