So since I'm a car audio illiterate, I figure it might just be easier to ask in here.

My aftermarket CD player shit the bed today, wont even turn on anymore... been giving me problems for the past couple weeks...

Sooo guess for a little bit I'm gona just drop my stock one back in there since I don't really care much for aftermarket but still want to keep my subs/amp in there do I just get a line out converter? Is there a certain kind I need? I have a kicker amp and pioneer 10's under my backseat.

The only thing I would like to keep is the aux input but I dont know if thats possible w/ the stock headunit.

You're in Amarillo right? I might be there Friday and I can hook it up (LOC) if you want. I'm MECP certified, if that matters, and I've done quite a few of these. Don't really need a certain kind of LOC, the simpler the better. Not sure about the aux input though. It's really quite easy though if you want to do it yourself. Only other thing you'll have to do is find a remote turn-on for your amp in the ignition harness. Tap it, fuse it, and you're good to go. Hey, it's my 100th post!
