So, as expected, once I had some daylight to work with, the thing popped right off. I got the new plate installed and everything is right in the world again. Well, except the Mrs. asking what the hell I needed the step for, since I took my roof rails off....but I guess that is also a sign that things are right. ;)

Yea not that big of a deal. I have to use an adapter everytime I tow since my trailer has the different plug. My adapter stays in my glove box. Always there when I need it.

But hey I guess you got it figured out, and you can call it a MOD LOL
