I have a 2012 Tahoe with the stock radio. No matter what mode its in weather be radio, or CD it will jump in to Aux. mode then I have to hit the band button to get it back to the radio station or CD or it will some times go back on its own. Just trying to figure out if any one has herd of this before I go diving into the dash.

sounds like a loose connection inside the radio on the face/button. If you're good with electronics and soldering, you could open it up. If not, look into getting it fixed or replacing.

Cool. Thank you just happen to have a nice soldering iron that I use on the helicopters.

Actually had this happen to one of our silverado's at work. We took it to the dealership, the gentleman there showed us what the exact issue was. He said it was a common problem he's seen with these radios. He started up the truck and put the radio on fm. The aux input port on the radio, he grabbed and shook a little bit and it switched back and forth from aux to fm. Bad connection apparently, they replaced the radio for us.
