Hello everyone. I joined this forum less than 12 hrs after purchasing my 02yukonSLT. I picked it up for a good price and the stereo system is awful. It's NOT BOSE. It sounds like crap all the way around. So my plan is to replace the aftermarket HU and all factory speakers. I see the front door panels have two speakers in them. I assume a component and tweeter. I've researched all morning but I'm confused. I found a entire setup on Craigslist for $300, will this work? Please let me know why or why not! Thanks in advance. I look forward to building this nice suv.

Here is the link to what I'm thinking about getting

I have a 2002 Tahoe non bose I replaced the head unit with a double din Pioneer went with Hertz speakers in the doors because they are designed to run without amp and work better just off the deck I wired around the amp just on the doors, reason being with the amp you will have mostly mid range I wanted lows and highs by bypassing the amp with the doors only and letting the rear speakers and sub run through the amp the sound I get is amazing I hear every note in the music. this link here will tell you how to do this. hope it helps. http://www.savagehomeautomation.com/...s_Tahoe_02.pdf
