stock stereo amped? run all new wire?

i am going to order new speaker all around this week. i am going to pick up a new head unit probably next month and amp a kicker CVT in the stock box (non bose). the stock sub amp and all wiring will be removed completely. are there any kind of amps for the stock speakers? if so i should run all new wire for the door speakers?

how about a 5 channel amp, to run everything? Yes, i'd replace all the factory wiring.

that would be a possibility. and i have been thinking about it but i dont know if i want to spend $300+ for an amp.

i was thinking of a nice pioneer head unit, KS600 6.5" speakers all around, 8" CVT and whatever 200 watt amp i can find to fit behind the interior panel there. if not i can mount it under the back seat.

I was wondering if there is a stock amp and where it is located on a 2000 yukon with the factory sub thanks

the sub is a) drivers side rear. B) in the front on the console. amp should be under the console in the back of it.

Absolutly replace the stock speaker wire. It can't even handle the stock speakers and HU cleanly at max volume. They are the veins of your system, no matter how great the equipment is you can't get the juice cleanly to the speakers. Believe me it makes a big difference, take it from someone who's had it both ways....
