Anybody know anything or have any experience with these guys? I'm considering replacing the carpet in our newly acquired burb rather than just trying to clean it (I have to basically gut the truck anyway). I can't get carpet from the dealer, are these guys any good? I don't want it to look aftermarket....

OK, thanks.

I'm real leery about it not looking 100% factory- I read different reviews about their stuff.

Here's where I am at right now. I have a couple big piles of interior parts (this is one of them):

and a gutted bus waiting for my next move:

The carpet cleaning machine didn't do sh*t, too much coffee and junk in the carpet so we pulled it out and pressure washed it. It came out clean but still stained all over the place. I've got in hang-drying in the garage but it is not suitable for going back in as-is.

I've got a Plan A and a Plan B.

Plan A - The guys at the dealership yesterday said I CAN get factory carpet from parts and to talk to someone who isn't an idiot. We are going to check on that tomorrow.

Plan B - If I can't get a factory replacement carpet for the bus they have someone that comes in and can dye/touchup dye this one. That'll get rid of the remaining brown coffee and fruit punch stains. The carpet is in good shape and doesn't have any real wear- it just needs lousy.

Hopefully I'll know which way I'm going on this tomorrow.

I'm tempted to get some hushmat or dynamat in there while its gutted, but as big as this truck is, I'm going to need an acre of it.

:hmmm2:

I got carpet for my 2004 lightning from them. Fit was good did require a little trimming but nothing major. If you don't want to dynamat due to cost check out frost king. It's 1/8" thick duct work insulation. Comes in 12" wide by 15 foot rolls for $18 a roll. Worked great in my lightning and only spent $90 and that was doors, floor, back wall and roof

Great news... I can get factory replacement carpet right from GM (my wife's price, with her discount, is about the same as the aftermarket I looked at). It is shipping from Lansing, MI and I should see it late this week.

I'll check out frost king. Thanks!
