Well, spoke with adjuster and body shop today. Looks like from first estimate $3900 to fix my ride. Natiowide will send me a check for that amount and I take my truck back next week. Asked the shop mgr about ordering aftermarket parts and she said they have a deal with local Cadillac dealer to get OE parts at the quoted aftermarket prices. Also asked her about the Cervini's hood I wanted to do rather then the OE. She said take the cost of the Cervini hood and subtract the hood allowance quoted and that would be my difference to pay. That would be less then $100, $476 for hood, $110 for fire supression mating under hood. Now, she said I could also do the tbss or street scene bumper. I am torn which cover to go with,
street scene Gen 1: http://www.streetsceneeq.com/product_popup.asp?id=3340&img=1
street scene Gen 2: http://www.streetsceneeq.com/product_popup.asp?id=3517&img=1
or TBSS cover
I have $425 to spend on bumper cover, the street scenes come in at $385, so I actually save a little with them. The TBSS coe in around $450 (aftermarket) WTF?
In your opinion which street scene looks better?
