Hi

I have been working on my 09 Yukon now for the past couple of weeks. My 2.5" F, 2.0" R Suspension maxx lift is being shipped. I am waiting on my ATX teflon coated Chambers 18x9.5 with a offset of -12 to arrive also. The tires I bought are 305 60 18 Cooper STT tires. I have done as much plastic and metal trimming/bending as possible. I hope its enough. Can't send the tires back and don't want to go any higher. I searched this and other forums for a definate answer for fitment. I don't want "normal" 285 60s. Opinions???

edit: THIS Forum is by far the best Yukon forum going THANKS

Theoretically those should work out to be 32.41" in diameter and should fit. However, 305s (12") are pretty wide and will require a lot of trimming but I am not sure how the offset will affect things.

How much did you trim? Just to give you an idea, with 2.5" front lift and 285/65/18s I had to trim about 2 inches off the front well wells. This in on a Z71.

Post some pics of the new setup.

I will post pics asap... I installed the lift/leveling kit today. I cut the metal behind the front tires up until the pinch weld then bent and pounded the pinchweld flat then cut some more. I have done alot of little things to her also.

Here is a pic of of the area I cut out. The paper represents what I cut out.DSCN0174.jpg

Here is a pic of a mounted stock 265 17 comparing my unmounted 305DSCN0180.jpg

The tires don't seem much taller than the stockers.

Ive got 305/55/20s on my stock 20" rims (zero offset). I had to do some trimming up front. Looks to be the same trimming you did. Also trimmed out the plastic wheel well liners in the rear. I still get some rub up front at full turn and some in the back when it's fully loaded. Not too bad at all though.
