sub woofer for my 03?

just installed some alpine door speakers front and rear in my 03 and man what a difference, the stockers we're completely shot out pieces of junk so next on the list is to get a little base i hear that mtx sells something that has a self contained amp and hides behind the left rear panel in the cargo area and i'm looking for feed back on this product or any other suggestions. im not wanting to have an exposed box and amp like i did on my 2000 limited due to it consuming too much of the cargo area... thanks gang

I've read they aren't too bad but don't expect a lot. Just depends on what you're looking for. It'll compliment your system well and will add some low notes that your stock speakers can't hit. But it's not going to shake your neighbor's house or be heard a mile away. I have an MTX 12 in my Honda Accord with a 400 watt amp and it hits hard. The speaker itself is pretty good. I was happy with it but I'm moving on to a different sub this time with more power.
