Nice find!

I hate the factory center console cup holder area with the lids. I swapped mine out with a standard Tahoe/Yukon one. The piece just pulls out and snaps in

2012 Yukon Denali XL
2011 Yukon Denali RIP 5/20/18

I finally got around to swapping ours out - such a better function without the lid covers!!

One year later - update.

So had the Denali exactly a year as of today, what a great vehicle! Last summer we towed about 1500 miles up to Oregon and back with no issues. My wife drives it daily and loves it too. After the initial maintenance the only other things I've done are rear brake pads (AC Delco) and new tires (Michelin Defender LTX M/S 275/55R20).

Have had a electrical gremlin pop up once in awhile - seems to occur more often in warmer weather.

Link to video of electrical issue here:

Also, has oil analysis performed by Blackstone, report attached - all good.

Still haven't done my plugs/wires but likely get to sometime soon.

My guess is a loose connection on the gauge cluster.

I just did the plugs on my 6.2 09 Sierra last summer. That passenger side firewall plug is a PITA. Make sure you have plenty of socket extensions and u-joints. I had a 36" extension that made it much easier.

Could also be our pretty well known ground cables getting corroded or gunked up give all them a look see.

Yes, that is certainly a great sign of making the right choice.

Well, it's two and a half years later, how is she holding up? Any new towing adventures to share?

The 2012 Denali XL is still purring along with no issues. Have put about 40K miles on her since I bought it with 100K. I need rear brakes again and going to do pads and rotors. Front differential pinion seal replaced recently as it was starting to seep, and a new relay switch for the brake controller. I don't tow with it anymore since I picked up my 2005 Yukon XL 2500 (6.0 LQ4) which has also been fantastic and up to any task I've asked of it. My wife loves the Denali and said recently she looks forward to driving it until the kids are grown (6, 8 and 10 now). The Denali towed great; I love the auto level and integrated brake controller and for our TT ~7.5Klbs it did fine even in the hills. Still on original air ride shocks. Oh, and the electrical gremlin was a steering position sensor that was replaced and no issues since.
