I want to hear from those of you that have had aftermarket subwoofers in BOTH locations. Trying to decide if I want to go to the trouble of glassing in a sub in the back panel or buy a prefab to put under the front console. Chime in please

why would you put a subwoofer under the center console i would think that would be extremely annoying with that plastic center console vibrating all the time

I've had both. Under the console sounds nice up front but the bass tended to stay up front only. Plus if you crank it up, it would rattle anything inside the coin holder and the console compartment. I now have them in the rear and the bass not only fills the entire inside now, but it gets significantly louder and deeper.

OK thanks guys. This is what I figured. I just needed to solidify my ideas :)
I put a JL Stealthbox under the console. Sounds good for what it is. I know a lot of the guys have big subs and boxes in the back. Definitely rear for deeper bass, but up front still sounds good. Been happy with results thus far. Might add something in the back later.

Rear definitely fills the cabin much better, you can go a little bigger as well
