I have a stock '05 tahoe with auto-ride suspension. I have 150k miles on it and nothings ever been changed. The ride is getting sloppy and I think it's time to do something about it. I put a new motor in this thing at 117k miles so I'm gonna drive it til it dies. I also do a lot of towing and I feel like a brake upgrade would be a good idea as well.
So if anyone could give me suggestions on how to improve ride/handling and also upgrade the brakes I would be greatful. I am a total non-mechanic so feel free to give any advice no matter how remedial.
As far as budget goes, I guess there's no real budget. I'm not an enthusiast looking to have the baddest ass tahoe I can. Just looking to have a good performing set up that will last.

well you can get the front/rear autoride shocks from arnott and will take care of that.

Front/rear djm swaybars i sell for 375 shipped and will help with way truck feels on the corners.

Do you want to lower the truck or keep it stock height?

See, I even posted in the wrong section.

Ok, so OEM brakes but from the newer model.
Sway bars from djm
And stick with auto ride shocks.

Norcal- stock height is what I'm looking for. I'm gonna start searching your suggestions now.

Thanks for helping guys!
