I never figured out my wind deflector issue either. It’s intact, no broken spring clips or tracks arms that attach to the riveted pieces. And it still doesn’t spring up and down like it should. I gave up on it. Lol. Everything else in my sunroof works as it should after replacing all the broken track and arm pieces that move the glass back and forth. And it seals like it should when I close it. But no air deflector. Oh well.

This is where I'm at as well, removed the deflector and moving on. The weather lately has been awesome and I just had to revisit my sunroof issue, and this "fix" will work for me. Thanks for a little more insight on this subject.

I just need a friend that has a truck like this with the sunroof. Then I could look and see how that deflector sits in there.

I got lucky and found a 2004 escalade in the junkyard last summer. It had a sunroof. That’s how I got the spring clips to replace the one that broke on mine. The deflector in that one was sitting jsut like mine. So I don’t know where to go from here. Lol. Oh well.... I can open and close my sunroof like it’s supposed to work, and I’m not really worried about the deflector. Haha.
