Sunroof shade removal?

Anyone ever take the shade that covers the sunroof off?

The material on the shade is starting to sag, so I need to recover it..

I'm guessing the whole headliner needs to come down.

is there no way of opening it up with sunroof open? Strange that it is sagging.

yes the whole headliner has to drop down to get it out

I just replaced the liner for the sunroof shade. You need to pull the sunroof out not the whole headliner. It wasn't that bad, their is a youtube video on it.
