Ever seen a work van with a front bumper that is all pitted and has rusted little spots all over it. Well, that is years of highway / street miles of dirt, sand, weather, etc.. working away at the finish of the vehicle. Once this is applied it is like the "bra's" of the eighties and bug guards seen on countless pickups. It significantly reduces the wear of surfaces on the front of your SUV. This same stuff put on headlights keeps the UV from creating the hazy look we all have seen. When spending as much as we do on these trucks, why not add this to keep it looking good.

Thanks. Does it look good though? I only keep cars for 5 years max...wonder if it's worth it.

I got the 3m and installed it myself on the Denali. Whether you go with 3m or any of the other brands... it's well worth it. On my next vehicle purchase I'm definitely be putting on a clear bra.
Here are some pics of my install...

I had XPEL ultimate installed last week. Full hood, full fenders, bumper, mirrors, and a couple other areas. Went on a road trip this weekend and got blasted with bugs and some sand. Just got finished filling a quick detail this morning and it looks perfect. For me, worth it.

I've got an appointment to have the local Tint World shop apply Suntek to the front bumper, lights, front fenders, partial hood, mirrors, door pull pockets, and lower sides from the door ding trim down to the bottom of the doors and behind the rear wheelwell on Saturday. They are going to also add Lamin-X Tint to the taillights and 3rd brake light.....CAN'T WAIT!!!

Where did you have it done? Thinking about doing that as well. Thanks steve

I got it done at TintWorld here on the West side of Houston. Cutting Edge Concepts on the North side is supposed to be pretty good as well,
but they are further away. TintWorld did fine. A couple of pieces slipped down about 1/16" - 1/8" when drying and they are going to redo those 2 pieces this Saturday. Otherwise, it looks great! $1000 for the front painted areas, lights, up the hood about 24", the rockers from front to back, the side mirrors, and the finger wells on the handles.
