supercharged... 44lbs injectors... do i need a diff fuel pump ???

i just installed a procharger sc w/intercooler...
on my 04, 4.8
the kit calls for 44lbs injectors...

do i need to do anything with the stock fuel pump...?
will the stock handle it... with minimal boost... 7-9 lbs...?

Personally I would upgrade the pump and change the fuel filter for safety. Pending on the milage of your truck I would deff change it. Lack of fuel is what kills forced induction motors.

that is a future plan... but
should the factory pump be strong enough to handle the job??

If you have relatively low milage and get a safe tune I think you will be fine

Walbro 255 is about $100, cheap insurance and necessary on anything boosted :imo:

Upgrade the fuel pump or add a booster pump in line. Always better safe than sorry. Leaning out a boosted motor can equate to melted pistons.
