The portion of gray plastic between the door and fender is trimmed "hollow" so it allows for clearance but still physically looks stock. I do get the slightest bit of rubbing still at full turn between the rear portion of the front inner wheel well/fender area.

Just curious how is the ride quality with the 6" Rough Country kit? for now I'm going for keys and spacers with Bilsteins but was going to upgrade to the RC kit next year, however I hadn't heard good things about the shocks they supply.
I hate to say it but the RC Shocks are garbage. Get a good extended set to throw on with the lift, my hoe rides as smooth as the day I bought her.
Is there another kit that is sold where you could choose your own shocks? Or one that just comes with better ones? Not terribly familiar with Tahoe stuff so far having come from owning a Mustang.
