Suspension lifts....

Well, I'm researching lifts for my 09 Z71 2WD. Here is what I'm wondering. I'm looking for pro's and con's of the lifts: Readylift 4" lift, rancho 4" lift, BDS 4" lift, and Rough Country 3.5" lift. I understand prices will be significantly different between the brands. Please any advice for these lifts will be greatly appreciated. Currently I have a rough country 2" leveling kit with 285/65R18 tires with stock Z71 rims. Here is how it sits.

BDS or rancho if you want a complete kit. Me and Rough Country have history and IMO it's garbage.

Could I also get a general consensus of what would be the max tire size I could run with the two kits? I'm trying to get an idea as what to get once my tires need replacing.

When you get the 4" you are going to want a 6" soon after. I would go with a 6" lift from the get go.

Make sure the lift has the correct drops in the front or you will have horrible angles.

What angles would you be talking about? My tahoe is only 2wd. I'm sure I'll be happy with just 4". It will be probably be around February when I get the lift done. I don't want it to be to high for my wife and two toddlers and new born.

Well never mind, I missed where you said it was a 2wd. Lift on.
