Swapped 22s for 20s and wow! Need help with PSI please

One of my 22 inch rims cracked so I swapped to 20s instead and wow what an improvement in ride softness! I didn't think it would matter that much but it's seriously noticeable and even quieted an annoying interior rattle.

Can someone who's ride came with 20s from the factory please tell me the cold tire PSI from your door jamb sticker? My new tires are 275/60R20 115T which should be the same as what's put on 20s from the factory.

The volume of air inside tires play a large role in ride quality. It is the vehicles first "shock" so to speak. It is why i love how my rig rides with its 18 inch rims. Even with pressure hovering around 38psi. I know my 18s suggest 35psi for pressure and would think 20s would likely be right around that as well.

Love my 17s and 30 psi! Like a cloud when they are all warmed up to the same temperature.

Can't help the OP, don't know what the specs are for the latest generation. Probably 32 or 35 psi.

Ive thought about running a bit lower psi but don't want to go too low.

Found a website online that said that tire size on your generation, short and XL is 35 psi for that size. It said the old 22s were to be 36 psi. Is that what your door sticker says?

Factory recommendation is 35.

Thanks. Yeah door sticker says 36 psi for the 22s. 35 psi for the 20s is what I came across too, but was hoping for confirmation from an actual door sticker.

Rollin on factory 20’s with nitto ridge grapplers around 35/36 psi and she rides like a dream. No air or magride either
