Swapping electric running boards to stationary

I disconnected my running boards on 2017 premier, when they were in the extended position. Its one wiring hardness ( I think there is a second for lights ). It didn't trigger any error messages/service lights. I'd try that quick fix over buying anything.

Anyone know how many and what size bolts the 2021-2024 Tahoe Z71's running boards use to mount?
