Well, over the winter the Tahoe went through a lot in the woods to get wood for the burner and I got under there yesterday since my father-in-law said he painted the underbody to keep it rust free, well the front sway bar is just kind of sitting there, not connected by the wheels, does anyone have a picture of where its supposed to be connected?

There is a vertical metal link that goes between the sway bar and the rear part of the a-arm, just in front of the steering linkage. I know I have a picture somewhere....:hmm:

Here we go!

Also, while you're repairing this, I'd replace all the sway bar bushings too. Just for good measure.

thanks for the help, bought some "MOO"? The guy at the part's store wasn't very knowledgeable... said these were the heavier duty ones so to say... with polyurathane bushings

if they are not... well refund and off to autozone for the right ones

Yep Moog! I can hopefully put them on this weekend when it dries up a little

with it already broken off, its already half done for you lol

Only problem is I don't know where it attaches to underneath the sway bar end... :emotions34:

and in the pic... there is a little orange thing behind the sway bar end is that attached to anything? Its rubbery plastic

EDIT -

er...it looks like they may have given me the 2wd ones?

Same issue on my 95, broken sway bar links. Was able to take them off yesterday. Hopefully I get to install the new replacement today (from autozone). Hoping for a trouble free installation.

Installation went well on the sway bar links. Can't get any easier than that lol. Take care folks.
