I replaced my struts today...passenger side went on with no issues...driver side sway bar bushing was rotten. I had to cut it off to get the bolt out. Went to autozone and got the 4.5 in replacement because that's all they said they had. I was able to get them on but I think it raised my suspension height. I can't remember what I was at after doing the suspension job (Tonys 3/5 kit) a year ago...now I am at 35" all the way around. Should I get the 3.5 in links and replace or dont worry about it?

Did you drive the truck or just after you put it back on the gournd?

also some aftermarket struts the lower spring perch is higher which in turn lifts the truck up. Ive had to do my strut mod on trucks after they bought new shocks since perch is not in same position. Did you check the struts to make sure both are at same height on the spring perch positio?

Yes I drove it...

I replaced with the Delphi OE struts and they are in the proper perch position. They have settled a little and aren't as noticeably high.

Also no more rubbing with my 305/35/24s.

I also replaced the sway bar end links with the 3.5 moogs....but it didn't seem to make a difference.
