Ok so
I was able to get the driver 1 memory to hold. Thanks!

i took the driverside and driverside rear panels off. Unplugged everything, replugged it in and still no go on the rear locks. They will lock every time but not unlock. This is from the driver side control or the pasenger side. They used to unlock and then they intermitntly would not and now they never do. You can hear a servo sound come from the rear doors but no actual movement of the lock rod. Really annoying. Not sure what to do now.

So i take the truck fir a test ride. Wtf engine light pops on. When i first got the problem truck 3 months ago i couldnt fill the dam thing and it said tighten gas cap. I changed the air perge valve after digging it up on here.

I read the codes and here there are. Any help would be good. I was selling the truck because of all kinds of ******** ive had with it. Its been a good two weeks and i was just thinking, well maybe i fixed everything and now this.

Not sure if the last one is a y or some kind of symbol. Im not loving these nbs's at all

Following up. I cleared the codes. I pulled the battery cable and did a reset on the hvac controls per a poster in the forum. No codes as of 2 drives of 60 miles or so. I think the hvac got messed up because i killed the battery listening to radio. And the other weird code. I may have done a bean out or gotten the front wheels to slip.

The p096 code has come up before. And im.sure it will.do.it again. No other hints to.check on the that one?

As for.the rear door locks. Anybody else have an idea. I am going to.try and pull the rear door panel again today with 2 people around and test the wires going into.the solinoid. Theres continuity between the two wires so at least they go somewere! I figure one wire will energize when the door unlocks and the other will energize when the door locks. We'll see

Wish I could help you with the codes but when it comes to the rear doors locking, take those door panels off and test the wires going to the lock solenoid and see if you are getting 12V to them when you are locking and unlocking the doors from the drivers seat!

The signal is so quick i cant get A reading. But it seams dead on the open side. Now twice the drivers unlock switch has been powerless. Windows work and lock works but not unlock. When that happens the passenger doesnt work either. Im guessing to power from the passenger side goes over to the driverside before going to the rear. Can anyone confirm this?
Im guessing that controler is shot from water running into it. The truck didnt have visiors on it when i got it and i know i have left the windos open twice.

Anybody know what that whole part is called? Is it worth going to a salvage yard for it?
Thanks

Door lock relays ! Driver side fuse panel when you open the door. The 2 black ones. One locks one unlocks. If you have this problem try switching the relays. Solved mine. Went down picked up 2 fresh ones and wala. BWD part # R3110Z. 14.99 each. Works like a charm now.
