ok so i currently have 2 RF p1 punch's in individual boxes while they sound good they just dont hit all that hard and the trunk space taken up from the isnt really worth the work they are doin lol. So i have 2 options replacing the 2 10's with 1 better 10 or ditching the 10 for an 8 in the stock location... i have a 760 watt 2 channel pionneer amp
what i have X2

(4.4 Kg.)
for the 1 10 replacement this is what i was thinkin
10 alpine type r
Impedance 2 + 2 Ohms
Dual Voice Coil:
Power Handling: 500 watts RMS, 1500 watts peak
Kevlar reinforced pulp
Rubber Surround Material
Custom cast aluminum frame with integrated perimeter venting and heat transfer plate
Frequency Response: 26 Hz - 500 Hz
Sensitivity: 85 dB
Mounting Depth: 7"
Sealed Box Volume: 0.5 - 0.8 cubic ft
Ported Box Volume: 0.6 - 1.25 cubic f
or the 1 8" would be
rf punch
8" Rockford Fosgate Punch Series Subwoofer
Power Handling:
Peak: 400 watts
RMS: 200 watts
Polypropylene Cone
Compressed Sealed Poly-foam Surround
ABS/Acrylic Dustcap Assembly
Tear and fatigue resistant poly-cotton spider
2" Dual 2 ohm Voice Coil with spun-laced Nomex insulating collar
Double stack ferrite magnet
Frequency response: 40-250 Hz
Sensitivity: 84 d
or a jl8w3v3
8" Single 4 ohms W3v3 Series Subwoofer
Power Handling:
Peak: 500 watts
RMS: 250 watts
Impedance: Single 4 ohms
Sealed Box Volume .30 cubic feet
Ported Box Volume .35 cubic feet
Frequency Response 28 - 250 Hz
Top Mount Depth 4-9/16"
Mineral-filled polypropylene cone woofer
Rubber surround
DMA optimized motor system
Elevated frame cooling
Vented reinforcement collar
Floating Cone Attach Method (FCAM)
Insert molded suspension, coil, and terminal-sub assembly
Surround stress relief design
Customizable trim ring
Sensitivity: 83 dB
so my ?'s are would the 1 10 type r in theory hit harder/same as the 2 10's i have now... and if i were to do the 8"setup would there be any dramatic gains picking the jl over the RF...the price JL is twice is much but the only thing i see is 100 more watts but im no expert. Thanks for any advise to any one who read through this whole thing
