I'm going to change the fluids soon. Do I need to buy new bolts or reuse the ones I took out? Just want to know the correct procedure so I don't wind up with leaks.
Thanks!

Just clean and reuse the existing bolts. The drain plug has a magnet on it that will capture loose metal particles. Make sure to clean it all well before replacing. Fill bolt has a nylon/rubber washer. It's a good idea to lubricate that washer lightly with the transaxle fluid before replacing.

Great info. Much appreciated.
I like to have a good idea of what I will encounter BEFORE I dive in to projects :)

No probs. The job itself is not too bad but it is a bit dirty, especially with the front differential. Filling the front differential with the thicker hypoid oil is always a bit of a pain. I fabricated a special clear hose 7/8" outside diameter, 3/4" inside diameter, about 30 inches long that I can use as a conduit for filling the front differential. This way I can see the fluid moving and just dump in the required amount. Makes it easier than hand pumping an ounce at a time.
