Tahoe 2022 Factory Cross Bars - Locks Clockwise or Counter-clockwise?

I recently purchased the factory cross bars for my 2022 Chevy Tahoe. It appears that the driver's side locks by turning the cross bar key clockwise and the passenger side of the cross bar locks by turning the key counter-clockwise. Can anyone help validate this assumption?

The Installation guide does not mention anything on this topic.

I can't recall if mine were reversed between the 2 but I don't think you can remove the key when they are unlocked, so as long as the key comes out they should be locked. I can also go out and check to see if the lock is reversed on mine if you have issues. Let me know.

This is what I found in the installation instructions. They call it an Access Slot for accessories to slide into it.
