Ok so only 99-02 silverado 2500 or 3500 hood is interchangeable with my tahoe thanks ill see if I have any luck finding an oem one

Yes, but like Scottyboy said, 99-2000 hd hood is the same as what you have now.

As long as it is off of a 01-02. The 99-00 2500's had the same hood that you have.

I got mine used from mharders on this site and believe it to be oem. I would go oem just to be safe but may be more expensive. Also, I don't think the 2001-2002 aftermarket hd hoods come with the underhood insulation, which I hear have now been discontinued, if that concerns you.

I found my oem hood on another forum......I payed $300......thats about how much they go around here.....
