I've never used seafoam before.. If i'm correct it should be 1/3 in the gas, 1/3 in the oil fill cap and 1/3 sucked in the brake booster vac line?

I've also seen some people just add it to the gas tank instead..

Is the seafoam ok for the engine. I assume since they make the product but i've never been a additive kinda guy.. Usually if you need an additive its covering up another problem and not fixing one..

So I used the sea foam spray that goes directly into the intake while revving. I followed the exact steps but not a whole lot of white smoke came out. Maybe a couple large puffs but nothing crazy.

I also cleaned the throttle body and butterfly/plate before hand.

I haven't noticed any gained power or anything to suggest it's fixed. I'll wait till morning and test it cold.

i did half a can sucked up into booster, half into oil. did see a lot of smoke for a bit. at first it looked like my truck was burning, then trailed off. a lot smoother idle, better response on acceleration.

I went to purchase the regular sea foam but they were out. So i bought the spray. From what i read they say the spray breaks up easier but for some reason i think the 1/3 in each would make a better solution. Who knows though..

Before i do plugs and wires i was told to do a Exhaust Pressure Test in front of the Catalytic Converters.. I borrowed a test gauge and i'll do that first.. I'll keep you updated..

Here is the video of my pressure test.. I was told to hold it at 2500rpm and see if it goes about the green.. It doesn't.. However when i rev it to 4000rpm the gauge spkies large.. Is this normal?

I also attached pictures of the spark plugs and wire that i pulled.. Seems to be ok.. However i did notice that the plugs are NGK TR55GP.. I've never used NGK for anything but a import before... Is This Normal? I however didnt pull all the plugs.. Just 2 that looked identical..

I am still currently having the issue of the hesitation and lack of power.. I notice it more on cold startups in the morning.. When i push the pedal it feels like it bogs down then goes after about a block..

Ok so upon further digging i cross checked the TR55GP NGK plugs and from what i've found either they have upgraded to a different plug or dont list that specific plug for this vehicle. As well under more review the plug doesn't have a good turnout.. Seems that after 1000miles the plugs act up and misfire.. I purchased GM AC Delco factory replacments and a factory fuel filter.. Cross my fingers it gets fixed...

What type of scanner are you using? There are some codes that won't throw a CEL and there are a lot of scanners out there that won't read all the hidden "Dealer only" codes.

Just thinking there may be more codes in there, maybe. Honestly, I would also replace the Evap, there is an upgrade from GM on those that moves it from back at the tank to up by the transmission, not sure why they did they exactly but I changed one on a customer truck about 3 months ago and his was doing similar things. Of course at the same time he was also getting O2 sensor codes so maybe on his it was the combination of the two.

anyone know the proper way to clean the emmision cannister on the rear? I'm getting a check engine light and was told to just clean it out real well because of dust.. Apparently its common to clog and not allow the switch to work.. Anyone got advice or a writeup perhaps?
