That's a $2000+ paint correction job. For the size and work, you got a huge deal.. Trust me. Just to use a PC and safely buff it using professional grade products, you're talking over $1000. To wet sand and then have to buff it, DEAL....

Trust me, I've done plenty. Looks like he did a great job on it. Looks awesome OP.

Most people have ZERO idea had bad the condition of their clear coat/paint is.... Yet they'll spend $2000 on a system or rims but complain about spending $1000 to get their paint fixed...

Wanna know how bad your paint is? Take your phones camera, turn the flash on and take a pic of the door from about 8" away...

Yup... Those are thousands of scratches in your paint.....

Wax doesn't "fix" it as wax doesn't correct paint.. It's a mild sealer... Wax with filler doesn't fix the paint. It's like make up on a 70 year old.. It doesn't remove the wrinkles. It just covers a few of them up... So think of real paint correction like a face lift.. It gets rid of some of the "bad" places. However, like any fix, if you don't take care of it after the "fix", you're back in the same condition as you were pre surgery.. Ha

I'm going to do a pretty detailed correction on my black 09 Denali. I bought it used an it needs help.... Now that the weather is getting decent, I'll start the process. I'll post some before, during and after pics.

Anyone who knows the process or wants to attempt it should should know, it isn't a weekend job. It's a loooong process that takes hundreds of hours to do properly. Which is why it isn't cheap to get professionally done...........

Hmmm....mine is rough and it needs some attention, but don't got that kind of time. Thanks for the education. That makes a ton of sense now. I never have seen it done in so much detail. My paint is rough and it bothers me. 07 black denali....swirls for days. I'll stay tuned for your thread!

Looks awesome. I just had my black Tahoe corrected, it was brutal. I'm waiting for my before and afters from the detailer. It's definitely not cheap but 100% worth it.

OP,
It looks amazing.
There's a lot of time invested in that but, the results are amazing.
I could most definitely use a paint correction on my PPV.
