New PPV Tahoe owner here. When I bought my Tahoe the previous owner had tried to install Escalade interior to make it nicer. Good in theory but execution not so much. The front two seats bolted in just fine but had no power due to different plugs etc. He also had semi installed the rear bench seat. I originally thought it was fine but on the ride home noticed that half of my rear view mirror was blocked by the back of the seats. Once I got to looking I noticed that the mount was nowhere near correct. I thought this was because they had come out of an Escalade with a longer wheel base. But after purchasing more rear seats from another Tahoe I ran into the same problem. I came to find out that the PPV apparently has a different seat mount bracket. I went to a dealership but they quoted almost $600 just for the left and right side brackets. Has anyone successfully transferred different seats into their Tahoe? I bought this to be a vehicle I could use daily and carry my family in but I am currently stuck with only being able to carry a passenger up front.

You may have had the plastic seat in yours, as ordered. It will vary from PPV to PPV though, depending on how they were outfitted. My PPV came with a standard rear vinyl seat (looks leather), and thankfully it is in pristine condition.

Like stated above, find a yard that has GMT900's and you should be able to find everything you need for super cheap.

Have either you guys replaced the rear seat brackets? Ive been working 12 hour night shifts the past 5 days and havent had time to look and see how difficult or easy it would be.

Thanks guys. I might go captains chairs to make it easier. I bought matching two tone front and rear seats though so I would love to use those. Guess im gonna have to do some running around to junkyards on my days off and see what I can come up with.

my PPV already had a vinyl bench in the second row as well. perhaps yours was previously a K9 unit? When i got my 3rd row seats from the junk yard I had to make sure and get the floor brackets and bolts as well.

Yes it was a K9 unit before I bought it. I did not think about that changing up my mounts and everything.

Being a k9 truck shouldn't have changed how seats mount... more than likely the seat that was in there was from a suburban or yukon xl... the long wheelbase seats will not fit a tahoe...
