the only bad thing is in the winter you cant start your car and let it warm up before getting in you would have to be in there and sit and wait for it to warm up other than that its like the perfect alarm

I love it on the wife's 11' Sienna Limited, but then again I love everything about that minivan...

If it were in the $500 range installed and worked perfectly like the Toyota unit I would be all over this.

Interested in hearing if anyone has had success with this.

thats what i was thinking. Key has to be in the run position for the electricals to run. Even Hondas S2000 has a key that has to be turned to the on position before you can hit the start button

I think down in the faq's it says you disable the steering wheel locking mechanism.

How in the heck do you disable the steering wheel locking system? Just sounds like a lot of trouble, but would be a neat feature.... my only problem would be the locked steering wheel... but i guess there is a way around everything...

:)

My 05 STS had it and I loved it. Never had to get the fob out of my pocket. Walked up, opened the door and started. Push the button to turn it off, get out of the car and walk away. Never had to lock or unlock, it was great.
