Tahoe RST Brembo brakes upgrade

I would like to upgrade my wifes 2017 tahoe brakes to the RST brembo set up. Does anyone know what all is needed? I was told that all I needed was to replace the calipers and brake pads for the brembos, can someone confirm.

So expensive! Anyone actually perform this upgrade and comment on the benefit? I've made several upgrades including : exhaust, intake, tune, swaybars... All have been worth it...but Holy crap...they are proud of those brakes!!!

I previously had a 2016 Denali with standard brakes which I found to be weak. I now have a 2019 that I purchased with the front Brembo brakes and so far think they are great - Worth every penny.

For that kind of price why not go WIlwood? I did that on my Crew Cab first. Liked it so much I did my 02 ECSB, The 2005 Escalade, & the 2015 Escalade. Now working on color matching the calipers for the Escalade. I willl swap the Escalade Calipers when I have a small block.

The brake rotor rings can be removed and changed out which might make the Wilwoods a possible option. Good luck with your choice.

Wilwood is a great option. In my case I was keeping everything factory order to make it easy and didn't want to mess with any warranty issues on a brand new $100K Yukon.

Hmm. Yeah, I can see that perspective. I don't worry about that too much. If I did, I would have no CAI, headers, exhaust or tune.

You need 20" wheels. If you have the factory 18's, the wheels won't go back on after the calipers are installed.

It really isn’t that expensive if you compare the parts of changing to Brembos on any other car with new components.
