does going from 20's to 22's make the tahoe any higher?

this is kind of a stupid question, but I don't know the answer.
If I went from 20inch wheels to 22inch, does it make the over all height of the Tahoe any higher?
I'm asking because I don't want to make the over all height any higher so it will still fit in underground parking.

It will depend on the size sidewall you go with on the tires.

My stock rear height on stock 18s (road to floor of trunk) was 32.7, with 22s on it's around 33.5. The difference will be less going from 20s to 22s, again depending on tire.

The recommended tire size for a 22 is 285/45/22 as a 20 is 275/55/20. Basically the hight won't change. If you don't up in the aspect tire ratio.

Actually I removed my 3rd row seats so that could explain why my ass is rising. :)

Plus I never measured it on 18s so I'm just going on chevy specs ... all these trucks are a little different each.

So yeah, keep aspect ratio of tires and ride height will stay the same.

Had factory LTZ 20s now factory 22s with those two tire sizes and it is very similar in height.

blank cap or esky cap only though... i want the chevy cap... that's non-existent...

Here is a set that I bought on eBay. They also have a set with a raised emblem too, I went with the set that matches the grille bowtie the second time around.
